Marc-Antoine // LBCC Ambassador 2021

Marc-Antoine // LBCC Ambassador 2021
Hi there! I’m Marc-Antoine (or Greco for close friends).
I’m 20 years old, I am studying Law at the University and I work as a sales advisor in a bike shop. Sounds boring, doesn’t it? Not at all, for the simple and good reason that I am lucky enough to be in close contact with one of my greatest passions; cycling.
As a young boy in elementary school, I was very far from being the “gym class hero” of my cohort. I would even say that I was light years away from excelling in my Physical Education classes, or even performing well on my hockey team. However, shortly after a life-changing event in 2013, my butt landed on a bike saddle. Since then, especially for the last three years, I have been consuming nothing but anything related to biking, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Excessive, you might say? Totally, but it’s fully assumed!
To me, cycling is much more than a sport or a simple means of transportation. It may sound cliché, and it certainly is a bit, but for me, “biking” is a lifestyle, an occupation, my profession for years, but above all, a passion that accompanies me all year round. Cycling is my escape route of choice in harder times, but also a way to celebrate the most beautiful things that life puts in my way. In short, to me, any occasion or opportunity is good to go out and ride.
Whether it’s for a morning coffee ride with friends or to tackle a 400-kilometre gravel ride in the pouring rain (wink to you my Cricri), I rarely hesitate to get on my machine. Every reason is good to push my limits. And believe me, it’s all the easier to find the motivation to get on your bike when you’re surrounded by people who are ready to accompany you in all kinds of projects, each one crazier than the other!
I hope you will have learned a little bit more about me through these few words! Looking forward to meeting you and sharing the road with you, in our beautiful LBCC kits, of course!
Cheers and vive le vélo !
