How do I take care of my Le Braquet apparel?

All Le Braquet garments use the highest quality performance fabrics, the lightest construction and meticulous care in fabrication. For any product of this quality, you need to know how to care for it.
The way you care for your garment is also a determining factor in its life span.

Steps to follow

1. Preparation

Close zippers if necessary, turn the garment inside out and make sure that any hook-and-loop fastener tape (Velcro) is secured.

2. Gentle Hand Wash or Delicate Cycle

Always wash your garment by hand or, at most, inside a protective laundry bag when washing on a delicate cycle. Heavy washing can cause abrasion to the fabrics.

3. Cold Water

Always use cold water for washing. The water temperature should be 30°C or lower. Use a fragrance-free, high quality laundry detergent. Be sure to use the recommended amount of soap. More isn’t always better. Absolutely no softeners or bleach. Hot water or the use of softeners will cause discolouration of the material and decomposition of the chamois pad.

4. Hang Dry

Always hang your garment in a well ventilated area. Bib shorts should dry inside out to ensure faster drying of the chamois pad. Using a tumble dryer, even at low temperatures, will cause damage to the fabrics and materials and colour fading.

Repair Service

Unfortunately, accidents can happen, even on the bike. As much as we try to stay safe during rides and workouts, sometimes falls are unavoidable. More often than not, we are fortunate that it is our equipment that suffers the most damage in a fall.

First of all, we are happy to offer a free of charge repair service. Send us images of the damaged products and we will evaluate what our star seamstress can do. If a repair is possible, we will communicate all the necessary information to get the ball rolling.

Crash Replacement

If the item is damaged beyond repair, we can offer a full crash replacement service, a modest, but effective compensation when your clothing is torn. We will quickly give you a 40% discount on a replacement.

Eligibility Requirements

Repair and Replacement Services cover a garment that was purchased within the last year from one of our Retailers or from our online boutique lebraquet.cc.

If your damaged piece is out of stock, the discount will be given on the most recent comparable item available from the current collection.

Please note that our products are covered for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Le Braquet reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim if the product shows signs of poor care or misuse.
